Gary Nitzkin

Gary Nitzkin is an attorney and like his father, Don Nitzkin, is a Certified Public Accountant. In order to become licensed as a certified public accountant, one must pass the nationwide uniform examination and perform two years of service in public accounting. During his tenure in public accounting, Mr. Nitzkin worked with other attorneys and learned how debtors attempt to hide assets and liabilities on financial statements and tax returns. He was inspired to form Nitzkin and Associates, a law firm dedicated to debt collection. He frequently draws upon his skills as a certified public accountant to review debtor financial information and to identify and target assets that debtors attempt to conceal from collection.

Gary contributes to our firm’s blogs on Michigan Debt Collection and Debtor Defense. When he is not in the office, he enjoys karate, bicycling, fine wine and teas.

DONALD NITZKIN
Donald Nitzkin is a certified public account and life long member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.  After retiring from an illustrious career at the international accounting firm of BDO Seidman, Mr. Nitzkin came to work for his son, Gary Nitzkin who is also a certified public accountant.  At Nitzkin and Associates, Don is responsible for reviewing debtor financial information that is subpoenaed by the firm’s attorneys.  As a forensic accountant, Don has had great success in locating assets that would otherwise remain hidden by debtors.  Indeed, Don was responsible for locating the defendant’s assets in Dedona v Parek that resulted in a cash settlement of $1.6 million for the firm’s client.  Don is Gary’s father and hero!
